The DDC adopts a double-semicircle stainless steel tank, fitted with two counter-rotating shafts of different diameters, adjustable paddles, segmented multi-point steam spray nozzles and liquid additive ports.

Two differential-speed shafts rotate in opposite directions, creating a figure-8 three-dimensional circulation to ensure thorough material mixing.
